PUBLIC SCREENINGS AND DIALOGUES

Since 26 June we have held 20 screenings and dialogues in 8 provinces. Currently screening in Gauteng and next in the Western Cape. Great work by Sunbox ambassadors, Noni Poni and Samkelo Donisi who have tirelessly kept at it. Huge thanks to Nelson Mandela Foundation and Bertha Foundation for partnering on this initiative and to Sunshine cinema for joining Plexus Films and LARC in helping the film do its work. ENCOUNTERS FESTIVAL 2017 Screenings were followed by panel discussions with Reverend Mbhekiseni Mavuso, former Deputy Chief Justice Dikgang Moseneke and Land and Accountability Research Centre Director Dr Aninka Claassens. In Johannesburg former President Kgalema Motlanthe had a heartfelt response to the film and was joined by Wits researcher Dr Sonwabile Mnwana will join Reverend Mavuso.
